Each OAA activity is organized, fundraised, and operated by the event planning committee. These committees are a great way to learn about event management, planning, advertising, sponsorship, and fundraising.
To help off set the costs of our annual activities and facility maintenance, this team of individuals would research and plan ways to find sources of funding including but not limited to fundraising events and campaigns. This also includes presenting sponsorship opportunities to businesses and fulfilling sponsorship deliverables (e.g. acknowledgements, banners, etc.).

BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND OFFICERS
The Board of Directors and Officers the governing body of the Okinawa Association of America, Inc. These individuals serve a minimum 2-year term, are involved in several committees, help at events, and determine the course of the organization.
Potential board members are nominated by a committee and voted by members at the Annual General Meeting. Qualifications and requirements apply. If interested, please contact the office.
