Due to limited storage space, the OAA does not accept used clothing, furniture, kitchenware, supplies, etc. unless when specified (e.g. rummage truck collection, white elephant sale).

DONATE YOUR CAR • 車を寄付する
​Since 2017, the OAA has been connected with Harold’s Car Donation, a company that will pick up your used car, re-sell it or the parts, and donate a portion of the net proceeds to local non-profit organizations.  They make it easy for donors by picking up the car from your home and taking care of all the necessary DMV paperwork and receipts.

When you go grocery shopping at Ralphs or Food4Less, a portion of your eligible purchase will be donated to the OAA! Before you pay, just enter the phone number that is linked to your account on the keypad.

  1. Call 1-800-443-4438
  2. Ask to enroll in the Ralphs or Food4Less Community Contribution Program
  3. Provide your rewards card number or phone number
  4. Give them the OAA’s charitable organization number: WM621 *NEW NUMBER* (previously 94011)
  5. Confirm the organization: Okinawa Association of America

ENROLL ONLINE:
  1. Go to Ralphs or Food4Less website and log in or make an account (if you don't already have one)
  2. Search for your organization
  3. Enter the name or NPO number of the organization you wish to support: WM621 *NEW NUMBER* (previously 94011)
  4. Select "Okinawa Association of America" from the list and click “Save”
    ​Your selected organization will also display in the Ralphs or Food 4 Less Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always do so under your Account details.

WORKPLACE MATCHING
​AND VOLUNTEER GRANTS
​Your company may be one of thousands that “match” employee charitable contributions with corporate dollars. Many companies also match volunteer hours or gifts from spouses, retirees and board members. A corporate matching gift is an easy way to double, or even triple, the impact of your personal contribution to the OAA. If you’re an OAA volunteer, your time and efforts could also result in donations if your company has a volunteer grant program.
