Our Year-Long Celebration Starts Now! The Okinawa Association of America invites you to join us on The Road to Taikai — a year-long celebration of Okinawan culture, community, and pride leading up to the World Uchinaanchu Taikai in Okinawa. Whether your roots trace back to the islands or you simply love the warmth of Uchinaanchu spirit, this is your community, your story, and your road to Taikai.

After years of anticipation, BEGIN is finally coming to Los Angeles. The beloved Okinawan trio — known for weaving the sounds of sanshin, island folk, and heartfelt storytelling — will take the stage at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center for one night only. This long-awaited performance has been years in the making, and we couldn't be more excited to share it with our community.
