Haisai/HaitaiOur Year-Long Celebration Starts Now! The Okinawa Association of America invites you to join us on The Road to Taikai — a year-long celebration of Okinawan culture, community, and pride leading up to the Worldwide Uchinaanchu Taikai in Okinawa.

Whether your roots trace back to the islands or you simply love the warmth of Uchinaanchu spirit, this is your community, your story, and your road to Taikai. |
ABOUTWhat Is "The Road to Taikai"?
The Road to Taikai is more than a concert. It's the beginning of our community's collective march toward the Worldwide Uchinaanchu Taikai — the global gathering of Okinawan diaspora held in the homeland. Throughout 2026, the OAA will be hosting events, fundraisers, and cultural programming under this banner, building momentum, awareness, and community spirit every step of the way. Every ticket purchased, every event attended, and every story shared is another step down the road. |
