Go For Broke Educational Foundation visits OAA

Go For Broke Educational Foundation Executive Director/ President Christine Sato-Yamazaki along with Tetsu Asato, 442nd Regimental Combat Team Veteran, visited the OAA on March 15, 2004.

Background on the Go For Broke Educational Foundation: The Go For Broke Educational Foundation is a nonprofit organization that institutes educational programs focused on the heroism and history of the Japanese American soldiers of World War II, as well as the incarceration of Japanese American and civil liberties issues raised by those events. Currently the Educational Foundation's programs include An American Story Teacher Training Program, Hanashi Oral History Program, select media projects, and educational Web site www.GoForBroke.org.

Mrs. Yamazaki explains the Foundation's mission, supporting the legacy, fundraising, giving, and volunteerism.
