Kajimaya Holiday Party

On November 24, 2002, 34 people enjoyed a Holiday Party for 28 senior members in celebration of Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. The Yamauchi Building was decorated with a festive Christmas tree. Our chairman, Edward Tamae led everyone in a toast to our new Kajimaya Club and for a good and healthy year of 2002. Everyone enjoyed the delicious variety of potluck dishes. We celebrated the members whose birthdays were in October, November and December. After the singing of “Happy Birthday to you” and picture taking, everyone enjoyed the scrumptious birthday cake from King’s Hawaiian Bakery. Karaoke by our talented members captured everyone’s attention. The gift exchange was a delight for each person to choose the best one, then open it to see what they got. Everything was great with holiday cheer to start the Christmas season for all.
We are thankful for the following donations from Kenji Takara ($30), Mieko Shima ($25) and Katsuko Teruya Arakawa ($25). We appreciate their generosity and continued support.
