Music of the Ainu

The Japanese American Cultural and Community Center of Los Angeles presented "Music of the Ainu: OKI with Ma Rewrew - Contemporary Sounds from Northern Japan" on February 12 at the Aratani/Japan American Theatre in Little Tokyo.

Emi Toko - vocals and mukkuri
Noriko Tanaka - vocals
Futoshi Ikabe - vocals, dance, mukkuri and tonkori
Hiroki Kinjo - bass guitar (Okinawan born)
Masato Kimura, and
Norihiko Yamakata - percussion
