February Monthly Volunteer Day
On February 4th, we were so happy to see 5 new volunteers come to help the regular volunteers (Charlotte Gibo, Betty Oshiro, Ruth Loo, Ririko Oshiro, Itsumi Jacomo, Ethel, Jane & Helene) clean the Yamauchi Building and help out in the office upstairs.
We were so amazed to discover that Miko Frey came from Victorville, Edith Sakamoto from Rosemead, Carmen Mochizuki from Montebello and Shizuko Shiroma from Lake Forest. Jimmy Ishiara and Sam Shimane did the heavy jobs while we ladies vacuumed/mopped the floors, cleaned the bathrooms/ kitchen and the plant area under the stairs and swept the parking lot.
Thanks to Hiroko Higa and Katsuko Arakawa for the delicious chirashi rice. We need you! See you on March 4th at 9:30 AM. Come when you can and leave when you must! People from near and far are welcome!
