Newsletter Committee

Chairperson: Nancy Niijima

The Newsletter Committee publishes the OAA newsletter four times a year. The committee gathers and edits articles for publication and prints and distributes the newsletter. The newsletter contains messages of the officers, calendar of the events, reports of the activities of the OAA committees, and special announcements. Each issue normally has eight pages and is mailed to all members and to the US and overseas Okinawa kenjinkai and to the Okinawa Prefectural Government.

Each OAA committee is responsible for sending articles and announcements to the Newsletter Committee Chairman by a deadline set for each issue. Layout and typesetting are done professionally, and volunteers of the committee proofread and mail out the newsletter.
