Building Committee

Chairperson: Ken Kamiya

The Building Committee has been authorized by the Board of Directors to spearhead a fund-raising project. The goal is to raise $750,000 to $1,000,000. Mr. Fred Hoshiyama has volunteered to help OAA with the fund-raising drive. Mr. Hoshiyama has been YMCA's fund-raiser for the past 40+ years. He has been involved in the fund-raising drives of the Japanese American National Museum, 442/100 Memorial Monument, and Korean War Alliance Monument to name a few. All of the fund-raising projects have met their goals.

The OAA fund-raiser will need at least 155 volunteers to accomplish our goal. The Officers and Board members will lead the volunteers. The project will last 4-6 weeks. We will need the help and cooperation of all of our members to make this project successful.

The members will be contacted in the near future for help and donations.

Let's make this our most successful fund-raising drive.
